Clarke Junior School

Our goal is to change the way the curriculum is delivered in Ugandan schools, moving away from the 'Chalk and Talk', repetition and cramming approach utilized in most Ugandan schools, which does not cultivate a growth mindset nor the development of the child holistically; to an inquiry and discovery based learning approach, taking teaching and learning strategies that have been proven to work internationally, and applying them to create life long learners. Through creating a successful alternative model for delivering the Ugandan National Curriculum in our school, and expanding this to other schools, we aim to change the educational system for the better from within.
