MiKashBoks

MiKashBoks is a digital social finance platform designed to support self-help peer-based group saving and lending as an alternative full-stack financial system for the two billion people globally under-served or not served by the financial system. 

We envision a future where the unbanked and underserved can save and lend within their own communities and are no longer limited and excluded. At maturity, individuals can safely save with their social circles, access loans from that circle or from external lending institutions, earn returns from their group, and build financial histories.

Access to finance is integral to livelihood and an area disproportionately more accessible to the privileged better equipped to prove “trust”. We envision a path to prosperity for the unbanked and underserved built upon a more equitable financial trust model decoupled from a person’s position on the scale of privilege and gender.
