Forest Fund

Forest Fund is a company dedicated to making conservation direct, transparent, and accessible to everyone.

We are currently keeping forest standing by working with local landowners who face economic pressure to deforest. We are working with low-income landowners to reforest key river basin regions and improve climate change resilience in our community. We pilot actions in forest conservation and reforestation and are in the early stages of exploring sustainably harvested forest products. 

We focus on doing. We put the ideas and initiatives developed in our communities through a rigorous cycle: test, learn, improve, reiterate. We undertake both profitable and charitable initiatives that align with Forest Fund's focus on implementing and advancing towards environmental sustainability. 

With our local presence, we are better equipped to not only understand the problems, but to assess and test the viability of proposed solutions. While we start with local initiatives, they are selected and designed for scalability.

We make our work visible to ensure that our donors, investors, and communities can follow their impact. Through satellite and drone imaging and social media, we can show where and when things happen in near real time. 

Our sights are set on an environmental sustainability that maintains socio-cultural, economic, and institutional sustainability at its core. Shifting mentalities towards long-term sustainability, both locally and internationally, and the youth championing this change are our source of fuel and inspiration. 

At a time when it's so important to get on with doing, we want to be a channel for anyone that wants to grow simple, practical, and cost-effective solutions that can sustain our world.
