About Us

Rutindo is a Community school in Masindi, Western Uganda, started in 2009 to provide disadvantaged children from rural communities with a better primary education and therefore leverage for more opportunities in their future.

Through an improved teaching approach we strive to ensure that children understand numeracy, literacy, culture and sciences, so that they have a firm foundation for further study.

With a teaching staff of 15 and project team of 10, we currently have over 250 pupils.

Through our award winning project of Maths+Culture, we reaching over 500 children with an innovation where teachers demystify mathematics through interactive teaching classes.
