The Tiny Cupboard

The Tiny Cupboard is the world’s smallest & most intimate venue located in the up and coming neighborhood of east Bushwick.

Our venue rejects the idea of charging artists an absurd amount of money to rent out space for performances and we accept every artist unconditionally unless they’re dangerous , rude or hostile. One major unmet need we provide to our community is accessibility, inclusion and income opportunity for small artists in NYC. We partner with small artists on events and split ticket sales generously in a city known for taking advantage of artists. We also provide the social need of intimacy in an increasingly virtual and crowded world and city. The Tiny Cupboard is known as the worlds smallest and most intimate venue, because it is tiny, and when you attend an event you are almost forced to talk to other audience members and performers because you’re sitting next to them In a small room unlike at bigger venues where no one talks to each other. We have plenty of performers come to The Tiny Cupboard for their first ever performance, and it’s a great space for artists to feel not judged and included. 

We will be posting creative positions like blogger-reporter, YouTube manager, event manager, and TikTok manager.

There’s only a few members of our team, so it’s a very intimate team just like our venue. Our vibe is fun, frugal, scrappy, and open-minded—we’ll try just about anything.
