F123 Group

F123 is an award-winning social enterprise dedicated to improving the educational and employment prospects of persons with disabilities through high-quality free and open source software (FOSS), training, and technical support. F123 provides all the software a person with a disability needs to use a computer, including operating systems, applications, and assistive technologies—such as screen readers and magnification—available on flash drives or for installation onto computers. Our software for the visually impaired is currently in use by people in over 20 countries, and our FOSS technical improvements are in use by more than 500,000 persons around the world. These technologies are low-cost, giving the 80% of persons with disabilities that live in developing countries access to the same competitive tools used by their peers in schools and in the workplace.
