GVI runs volunteer and internship programs aligned to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals across the globe. Over the past 20 years we have nurtured these projects from the ground up every step of the way. This has led to more than 150 programs in 13 locations around the world, each of them unique in their own way, but all aligned to sustain the beautiful world we live in.

At GVI, we are globally renowned for our ethical projects. We provide participants with a hands-on experience in their field of interest, but also make a big impact on participants’ personal lives. This is why we send over 2,500 volunteers away every year; making us one of the world’s leading, high-quality sustainable development and experiential education organisations around.

GVI continues to support many of the most critical conservation and humanitarian projects around the world. We believe in what we do and are totally committed to providing the very best programs and experiences! Although we work hard, we also have a tremendous amount of fun. This is one of the many reasons why we score a 9/10 on the “I’d like to work for that company” scale.
