    The Mission

    Powered By Love is a people-powered nonprofit committed to uplifting unhoused and marginalized communities by providing essential resources, such as hygiene supplies, clean water, school supplies, clothing, and food, with dignity and compassion.

    We are looking for a Logistics & Site Chair to lead the "The 831 Experience" campus transformation. This 48-hour restorative journey moves 75 unhoused neighbors through eight touch-points of care, concluding in a formal family-style Gala dinner . The 2-day event will be held on October 8th/9th, 2026. You will manage the physical infrastructure and technical requirements to ensure a safe, organized, and dignified environment for our Phoenix event.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Campus Transformation: Take the lead on the physical setup and "The 831 Experience" layout.
    • Permit Management: Oversee all necessary filings, including ATUP and Fire permits.
    • Utility Coordination: Manage trailer utility hookups and technical site requirements.
    • Site Mapping: Create and maintain to-scale site maps for the duration of the event prep.
    • Onsite Execution: Be present in Phoenix for the day of the event to manage logistics.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience: Proven background in site management, urban planning, or large-scale event logistics.
    • Technical Skill: Ability to read and create site maps and navigate city permit processes.
    • Commitment: Ability to complete 220 hours of work leading up to and during the event.
    • Local Presence: Must be local to Phoenix, Arizona for onsite requirements.

    Commitment & Compensation:

    • This is a volunteer chair position requiring a total of 220 hours. A $5,000 stipend is provided (subject to funding availability) to support the 831 Experience.
