Arts4Schools (501(c)(3)) | Remote
Arts4Schools (formerly Arts in CT) is seeking five high-level, committed leaders to join our Board of Directors as we expand our impact across Connecticut, Washington, DC, and beyond.
We are not building a passive board—we are building a working, strategic body of professionals who are ready to actively contribute, lead, and help scale a growing nonprofit.
About Arts4Schools
Arts4Schools transforms education through:
- Arts integration in schools
- Live performances and assemblies
- Artist residency programs
Our work supports student literacy, engagement, and achievement through creative, culturally responsive programming.
We are currently advancing our 10K Impact initiative, expanding access to high-quality arts programming for schools and communities across multiple regions.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who bring both expertise and action:
- Fundraising leaders and development professionals
- Grant writers
- Community advocates with strong networks
- Attorneys, bankers, and corporate professionals
- Strategic thinkers who generate ideas and execute them
Ideal candidates are not just advisors—they are doers.
Expectations
- Actively support and help lead fundraising efforts (give and/or get)
- Leverage your network, influence, and professional resources
- Contribute strategic insight and participate in decision-making
- Serve on and support board committees
- Act as an ambassador for Arts4Schools
Commitment
- Four (4) mandatory quarterly virtual board meetings (required attendance)
- Optional monthly virtual meetings to support fundraising, planning, and growth
- Participation in at least one committee encouraged
Note: While monthly meetings are optional, we are seeking members who are engaged, responsive, and actively contributing beyond quarterly meetings.
