Marketing Manager for the DC Independent Film Festival, February 11-16 (Part-time)

The 2026 DC Independent Film Festival Annual Forum, the longest-running film festival in DC, is currently looking for a Marketing Manager for our upcoming film festival, running February 11-16.
This is a contract position, which would run now through February 23, 2026. The start date would be immediately, and the first item would be to create a dynamic marketing plan for the festival
Other parts of the position, include:
- Social Media (work with our Communications team):
- Create content and manage all DCIFF social media
- Podcasting, Blogs, Website/newsletter posts
- Put every film on social media (Jan/Feb)
- Create advertising relationships with “partner" outlets
- Promote ticket sales on Eventbrite, website, social media, and other outlets
- Find an influencer, plan engagement, and manage
- Help plan festival events
- Before the festival—Do interviews with DCIFF alumni, new filmmakers
- On-site at festival—Do interviews with filmmakers, seminar panelists, and attendees
- Route & make sure all interviews, podcasts, etc. appear in all relevant places (website, social media, newsletter)

We’re a small but powerful team that works closely together to create an amazing experience for our filmmakers and audiences. Although DCIFF is a volunteer organization, but for this position, we are offering a stipend of $1000 for this position.
