    Description

Tiny Cat Animal Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) rescuing at-risk cats and supporting community cats across DC, MD, and VA.

Tell the stories that get cats adopted and campaigns funded! By volunteering with TCAR, you’ll help shape how our work gets done, with real room to try ideas and make them yours.

    Projects you might work on

    • Creating and scheduling Instagram and Facebook posts
    • Writing adoption spotlights and foster success stories
    • Drafting campaign messaging with the fundraising team
    • Replying to comments and questions in TCAR's voice

You might be a great fit if you…

    • Are creative
    • Write clearly
    • Know your way around social media, and like being friendly online
    • Are self-motivated and comfortable figuring things out as you go, and ask for help when you need it

Communications experience is a plus, not a requirement.

    What you'll get

    • Published work: a portfolio of posts, adoption spotlights, and stories
    • Social media analytics experience (engagement, reach)
    • A supportive, collaborative volunteer team
    • Flexible, remote-friendly scheduling
    • A chance to see direct impact
    • A growth path– volunteers who want more responsibility can step into a team-lead role

Commitment: About 5-10 hours a week, flexible, remote.
