    Description

Help Relaunch 4 The World at NC State — Founding Student President

Help Rebuild 4 The World at NC State

4 The World is seeking a motivated NC State student to help lead the relaunch of our student chapter and serve as a founding President/Chapter Leader.

4 The World is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 with a history of community service, education, fundraising, leadership development, and international service programs supporting communities primarily in Belize and Guatemala. NC State students previously operated a student-led chapter that organized service projects, fundraising activities, campus events, and international volunteer opportunities.

As a founding student leader, you can help:

    • Recruit the first group of NC State student members

    • Help organize chapter meetings and activities

    • Build a student leadership team

    • Develop community-service and fundraising projects

    • Connect with students, faculty, graduate researchers, alumni, and community partners

    • Help identify and develop future programs and international-service opportunities

    • Prepare the chapter for official NC State student-organization registration

    • Help create a leadership succession system so the chapter continues for future generations of students

You do not need previous nonprofit or leadership experience. We are looking for someone who cares about service, is willing to learn, and wants the opportunity to help build something meaningful.

You will not be doing this alone. 4 The World will provide historical chapter materials, organizational support, mentoring, and resources while the student leadership team is rebuilt.

Undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students at NC State are encouraged to express interest.

One student can help us find five. Five can help build a chapter. And that chapter can make a difference for years to come.
