Description
A simple phone call can mean the world—especially on a birthday.
We are looking for compassionate volunteers to help us celebrate our hospice patients by making birthday phone calls. These short calls offer encouragement, kindness, and the reminder that someone is thinking of them on their special day.
What this role involves:
- Making brief, friendly birthday phone calls to hospice patients
- Offering warm wishes, conversation, and companionship
- Calls are typically short and can be made from your home
Why it matters: Many of our patients have limited visitors or family nearby. Hearing a friendly voice on their birthday can bring comfort, joy, and a deep sense of connection.
Perfect for:
- Volunteers looking for a flexible, low‑time commitment
- Anyone with a caring heart and good listening skills
- Individuals wanting to make a meaningful impact, one call at a time
No medical experience required—just kindness and a willingness to reach out.
If you’re interested in helping our patients feel remembered and celebrated, we would love to have you join us.
📞💐 Your voice can make their day.
