    Must pass background check and drug screen. Orientation and education about hospice philosophy will be provided.

    Description

    Volunteers needed for companionship for patients who are on hospice care. There is no limit to the ways your time could benefit a patient who is confined to their home. Volunteering time to sit and listen, read a book, do a little light housework, play musical instruments, read to the patient, watch TV with the patient, play board games, cards, Bingo, or just simply sit and look out the window are some of the ways your companionship could benefit the patient. There's a special kind of appreciation for people who give of their time!! Call the office 731.736.2046 any weekday from 8a-5pm to donate a little of your time.
