    We are looking for college students to provide a minimum of 50 hours during the summer months. Patient visits will be 1-2 hours and office volunteering will be 2-3 hours each week.

    Description

    Are you a college student who is inspired to help others over summer break? Are you pursuing a career in healthcare and want to gain experience? Come join us and bring a smile to patients in the Florence area. You can make a difference!

    PruittHealth Hospice Pee Dee is seeking compassionate college students to provide visits for companionship, assist with recreational activities with patients, and provide emotional support. Additionally volunteers will provide administrative support in our Florence office location. Volunteers play a vital role as part of the interdisciplinary team of people providing care to our Hospice patients.

    Orientation, ongoing training and support will be provided. Volunteers are required to have completion of satisfactory background check and drug screening
