    Description

Veterans Helping Veterans - In Person Hospice Volunteers Needed - Hadley/South Hadley

Your service made a difference then. Your presence can make a difference now.

Have you ever thought about how meaningful it could be to sit with someone who understands your experiences?

We invite Veterans to consider becoming hospice volunteers and sharing their time, compassion, and companionship with patients who are nearing the end of life.

As a Veteran, you understand the value of service, camaraderie, and being there for one another. Your presence can bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of connection to Veterans and other patients during a very important time in their lives.

How You Can Make a Difference

      • Visit and spend time with hospice patients.
      • Offer companionship, conversation, and a listening ear.
      • Connect with fellow Veterans through shared experiences.
      • Help ensure that those who served our country feel honored, respected, and never alone.

No medical experience is necessary. All volunteers must complete an extensive on-boarding and training process (13 hours). We offer the training online.

    Continue Your Mission of Service

You answered the call to serve our country. Now, consider answering the call to serve those in your community.

Become a Hospice Volunteer. Make a difference, one visit at a time.
