Hope Ignites Cincinnati is looking for dedicated academic tutors to support our scholars. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who are working hard to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their dream to graduate high school and college.

Our scholars are highly motivated and capable individuals who are determined to overcome challenges and create a brighter future for themselves and their families. While we provide the tools and resources for their academic success, the support of our volunteers plays a vital role in helping them reach their goals. Tutors, mentors, and job-shadowing opportunities help fill the important gaps that can make all the difference in their journey.

We are seeking tutors who are willing to assist scholars in all academic areas for grades 7-12, including:

• Math
• Science
• Language Arts
• Social Studies
• Foreign Language

As a tutor, your role will be to support scholars by breaking down complex tasks, offering guidance on coursework, and answering questions they may have about various subject areas and specific assignments. Whether it’s helping them understand a challenging concept or providing additional explanations, your guidance will be invaluable in helping them succeed.
