About Nutrition Clarity Foundation
Nutrition Clarity Foundation is a Nashville-based nonprofit focused on food literacy and prevention-focused community education. Our mission is to help individuals and families better understand everyday nutrition, food labels, and how food choices connect to energy, mood, and long-term health through accessible, education-based workshops and resources.
Opportunity Overview
Nutrition Clarity Foundation is seeking friendly, reliable, and community-minded volunteers to support outreach events, workshops, and health fairs throughout the Nashville area. Volunteers help represent our organization in community settings and support event setup, attendee engagement, and educational resource distribution.
This opportunity is ideal for students, community health advocates, public health majors, or individuals interested in community outreach and wellness education.
A modest stipend or honorarium may be provided per event to support volunteer participation, depending on event type and funding availability.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Support workshops and tabling events at libraries, community centers, and health fairs
- Greet attendees and help distribute educational materials
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming booth or workshop space
- Provide basic information about Nutrition Clarity Foundation programs and resources
- Support attendance tracking and basic event logistics when needed
Basic Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable interacting with the public in a friendly, professional manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry light event materials (tables, bins, display materials, etc.)
- Comfortable traveling to various locations around the Nashville area
Preferred Background (Not Required)
- Interest or background in public health, nutrition, healthcare, education, or community outreach
- Experience supporting events, workshops, or community programs
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are welcome but not required
Schedule & Structure
- Events are scheduled in advance
- Most events last approximately 3–5 hours
- Opportunities may include weekday, evening, or occasional weekend events
Stipend / Honorarium
Volunteers may receive a modest stipend (typically around $75 - $100 per event day) as a thank-you for time and participation. Availability of stipends may vary based on event funding.
