    Volunteer with Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Tanzania

    Amazing Grace Widows and Orphans Tanzania (AGWOT) is seeking passionate and compassionate volunteers to support orphans, vulnerable children, trafficked girls, and widows in Monduli District, Arusha, Tanzania.

    This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a heart for helping children and making a positive impact in vulnerable communities. Volunteers will work alongside local staff and community members to support education, childcare, mentorship, community outreach, and empowerment activities.

    Volunteer Responsibilities

    • Assist children with education, homework, and English practice
    • Organize games, sports, arts, and creative activities
    • Provide mentorship and emotional support to vulnerable children
    • Support community outreach and home visits
    • Assist with feeding, hygiene, and daily care activities
    • Participate in women and youth empowerment programs
    • Support social media, photography, fundraising, or administration if skilled

    Qualifications

    • Passion for helping vulnerable children and communities
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Respect for local culture and teamwork
    • Basic English communication skills
    • Experience in teaching, childcare, social work, healthcare, counseling, or community development is an advantage but not required

    Amazing Grace Widows and Orphans Tanzania (AGWOT) is located in Monduli District, Arusha Region, Tanzania. Volunteers can arrive through Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. Airport pickup and local transportation assistance can be arranged upon request.

    Instructions:

    Please submit your CV/resume, a short motivation letter, and any relevant certificates or references. Volunteers should be passionate about supporting vulnerable children, widows, and trafficked girls. We welcome volunteers with skills in teaching, childcare, counseling, community outreach, healthcare, fundraising, and women empowerment. Flexible volunteer periods are available. After application review, selected volunteers may be invited for an online interview via Zoom or Google Meet.
