Description
The Data Engineer will lead the design and implementation of the cloud data infrastructure
What You Will Do
- Implementation: Implement solutions on the Azure platform, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Data Modeling: Design and develop data models and data structures for effective data storage, retrieval, and analysis
- Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including internal and external systems, to provide a comprehensive view of the data.
- Optimization: Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Testing and Deployment: Test and deploy solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are ready for production
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data solutions
What You Bring
- Strong background in Data Engineering, including experience with data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Experience working in Azure-based deployments (Batch/Real-Time) leveraging Azure SQL, Databricks, ADLS, Blob Storage, ADF, Azure Automation, etc.
- Experience with one or more of the follow scripting languages: Python, SQL and/or other for ETL
- Experience with building data infrastructure to support Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
