    Where Soccer Meets Service: Join Our Freedom Park Lockhart Cares Inc Volunteer Team

    Lockhart Cares Inc., in partnership with Delaware North, is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support game‑day operations at the brand‑new Freedom Park in Miami. This is an exciting chance to be part of Miami’s growing soccer culture while helping us raise funds and expand our community impact. Volunteers will assist with concessions, guest support, and event operations during live soccer matches, contributing directly to the success of both the stadium experience and Lockhart Cares’ mission.

    Instructions:

    Responsibilities

    • Provide friendly, professional customer service to fans and guests.
    • Assist Delaware North staff with concession stand operations, including serving food and beverages.
    • Support crowd flow, line management, and general guest assistance.
    • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the event.
    • Follow all stadium, safety, and food‑handling guidelines.
    • Represent Lockhart Cares Inc. with professionalism and a positive attitude.

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 16 years old (or meet stadium age requirements).
    • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the stadium as needed.
    • Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
    • No prior experience required; training will be provided.

    Location

    Freedom Park Miami, Florida

    Volunteers support live soccer games and special events at Freedom Park. Each shift typically includes:

    • 4–6 hour shifts depending on the event schedule
    • Evening and weekend availability, as most games occur during these times
    • Arrival 60 minutes before gates open for check‑in and brief training
    • Commitment to at least 2 events per month during the active season (flexible based on availability)

    📅 Scheduling

    • Volunteers will receive a monthly schedule of available game dates.
    • Shifts are assigned on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
    • Volunteers may sign up for additional games if space is available.
    • Attendance is important; volunteers are expected to confirm or cancel shifts at least 48 hours in advance when possible.

    🎽 Uniform & Appearance

    • Volunteers must wear closed‑toe shoes, comfortable black pants, provided Volunteer shirt and a Lockhart Cares volunteer hat (provided and returned the day of the events).
    • Long hair should be tied back for safety.

    📋 Training & Orientation

    • A brief on‑site orientation is provided before each shift.
    • Additional training may be offered for volunteers who want to take on leadership or specialized roles.
    • Volunteers must follow all stadium, safety, and food‑service guidelines.

    🤝 Conduct & Expectations

    • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude with fans, staff, and fellow volunteers.
    • Follow instructions from Delaware North supervisors and Lockhart Cares team leads.
    • Uphold the mission and values of Lockhart Cares Inc. while representing the organization.
    • Arrive on time and remain for the full duration of the shift.
