    Organization: LoopRoots Foundation

    Program: LoopRides

    Location: Remote

    Commitment: 15–20 hours per week

    Start Date: ASAP

LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Transportation Pricing & Revenue Strategy Coordinator to help develop the pricing and revenue model for LoopRides, our expanding community transportation and rideshare platform.

LoopRides will connect screened drivers using their own vehicles with individuals and organizations needing reliable transportation for essential purposes such as employment, medical appointments, housing services, shelter placement, court and probation requirements, workforce training, grocery access, and other critical needs. In addition to individual rider transportation, LoopRides will provide shelters, healthcare providers, nonprofits, workforce programs, housing organizations, and other community agencies with access to an administrative dashboard where they can request immediate rides, schedule future transportation, arrange recurring trips, and coordinate daily or weekly routes.

The person in this role will help establish a sustainable and competitive pricing structure for riders, drivers, facilities, and organizational partners. Responsibilities will include developing rider pricing; helping determine driver compensation; creating daily and weekly route pricing; developing pricing for shelters and other organizations that regularly transport clients; evaluating per-trip, mileage-based, hourly, flat-rate, subscription, route-based, and contracted pricing models; creating volume discounts and enterprise pricing; analyzing operating costs and margins; comparing transportation and rideshare pricing models; and building financial models showing projected revenue, driver payouts, platform costs, and sustainability at different ride volumes.

We are particularly interested in applicants with experience or education in finance, transportation, pricing strategy, revenue management, economics, business analytics, accounting, operations, logistics, consulting, or financial modeling. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are highly desirable.

This is a remote volunteer position requiring approximately 15–20 hours per week. The role has the potential to transition into a paid position based on individual performance, program growth, organizational needs, and available funding. A paid transition is not guaranteed, but we are looking for someone interested in growing with the transportation program as it expands.

To apply, please submit a resume and a brief statement describing your experience with pricing, financial modeling, transportation, revenue strategy, business analytics, or related work.
