    Independent Campaign Coordinator (County-Level): Montgomery County Campaign Coordinator (Dayton)

    Role Description

    We are seeking motivated, community-driven volunteers to serve as Independent Campaign Coordinators at the county level. Coordinators act as local leaders for the campaign, helping expand its reach, organize volunteers, and connect local concerns to a statewide reform-focused message.

    This role is ideal for individuals interested in civic leadership, political organizing, community building, or future public service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary volunteer point of contact for the campaign in your county
    • Plan and help execute local events, meetups, and outreach activities
    • Coordinate signature collection efforts to support ballot access
    • Recruit, organize, and support local volunteers
    • Collaborate with campaign staff and coordinators in other counties and cities
    • Share campaign messaging through local networks, community groups, and events
    • Provide feedback to the campaign on local issues and voter concerns

    Skills & Qualities

    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Comfortable engaging with people across political and ideological lines
    • Self-motivated and reliable; able to work independently with support
    • Interest in structural reform, democratic accountability, and civic participation
    • Prior campaign or organizing experience helpful but not required

    About the Campaign

    The John Biel-Goebel Independent for U.S. Senate campaign is building a statewide, people-powered movement focused on restoring trust in government through structural reform, ending gerrymandering, implementing federal term limits, and getting money out of politics. This campaign is independent of both major parties and relies on grassroots leadership across Ohio.
