Infant Cuddler Volunteers are specially trained to support mothers by holding and comforting babies as needed. Position requires periods of sitting, standing, holding, and rocking; and requires full range of body motion. Orientation and training is provided by nursing staff.
Volunteers must be 21 or older and pass a Washington State and National background check prior to volunteering. Applicants will provide immunization records and TB screening and commit to serving a minimum of 6 months with one 3-hour shift per week. Shifts are available between the hours of 11pm and 8am, when most mothers are resting.
