Corporate Outreach Ambassador

Help connect surplus office supplies with classrooms in need

Overview:

Teachers’ Teammates is seeking a passionate and proactive volunteer to serve as a Corporate Outreach Ambassador. This role focuses on building relationships with businesses undergoing transitions—such as office relocations, downsizing, product or logo/branding changes —and encouraging them to donate surplus supplies to support local teachers and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and reach out to companies in Delaware County and surrounding areas that are:
• Moving or downsizing office space, Discontinuing products or service
• Holding excess or obsolete inventory
• Clearing out unused office supplies
• Introduce Teachers’ Teammates’ mission and impact, emphasizing how donated materials directly support educators and students
• Coordinate donation logistics with company contacts and our warehouse team
• Maintain records of outreach efforts and follow-up communications
• Represent Teachers’ Teammates professionally and enthusiastically in all interactions

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with cold outreach via email, phone, or in-person visits. However, many leads are already identified.
• Passionate about education and community impact
• Organized and self-motivated
• Familiarity with local business networks is a plus

Time Commitment:

Flexible hours; ideally 5–10 hours per month. Remote and in-person outreach options available.

This model diverts tens of thousands of pounds of materials from the waste stream.
