About The Campbell House
The Campbell House is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls and strengthening families through mentorship, leadership development, educational support, wellness programming, and community engagement. We believe every young person deserves access to opportunities, positive role models, and a supportive community that helps them thrive.
Opportunity
The Campbell House is seeking a Volunteer Corporate Partnerships & Community Engagement Advisor to help expand our network of community partners, sponsors, and supporters. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in business development, corporate relations, fundraising, community outreach, marketing, or nonprofit partnerships who is passionate about helping a grassroots organization grow its impact.
As we continue to develop programs for girls and families throughout Essex County and surrounding communities, we are looking for someone who can help us build meaningful relationships with businesses, civic organizations, foundations, and community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Assist with outreach to businesses, community organizations, and potential supporters
- Help develop sponsorship packages and partnership materials
- Support efforts to secure in-kind donations, volunteer groups, and community resources
- Advise on strategies for increasing organizational visibility and community engagement
- Introduce The Campbell House to relevant professional and community networks when appropriate
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term partnership and sustainability planning
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in business development, community relations, corporate social responsibility, fundraising, sales, marketing, public relations, or nonprofit development
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Passion for youth development, education, and community empowerment
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively with a growing nonprofit organization
- Existing professional or community networks are a plus but not required
Commitment
- Approximately 3–5 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- Primarily virtual, with optional participation in community events and meetings
