    Description

The Gracefull Table Community Kitchen provides free, freshly prepared meals and restaurant-style hospitality to people experiencing food insecurity and neighbors in need.

As we grow our First Sundays Community Dinners and work toward our long-term vision of a permanent pay-what-you-can community restaurant, we need people who can help us build relationships throughout the community.

We're looking for Community Sponsorship & Fundraising Ambassadors to join our Community Impact efforts and help introduce The Gracefull Table to individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations, and other potential community partners.

This isn't about handing you a list and asking you to cold-call people on your own.

You'll meet with our Founder and Executive Director first to learn about The Gracefull Table, what we're currently working toward, the types of partnerships and sponsorships we're seeking, and how we approach community outreach.

From there, we'll provide the information, talking points, materials, and support you need to begin making connections on behalf of the organization.

    Instructions:

    Volunteer Orientation

Before beginning outreach, volunteers will meet with Nikisha Pace, Founder and Executive Director of The Gracefull Table Community Kitchen.

During that meeting, we'll talk about:

    • Our mission and the people we serve
    • Our First Sundays Community Dinners
    • Our long-term vision for The Gracefull Table
    • Current sponsorship and community partnership needs
    • The types of businesses and organizations we're hoping to reach
    • How we communicate our mission
    • Appropriate outreach and follow-up
    • How to keep track of potential sponsors and community partners

Afterward, you'll receive the materials and information you need to begin helping us make connections.

Experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn and connect with people is just as important.
