Hunterdon Land Trust has 9 preserves across the county that we steward for ecological diversity and public access. We're always excited to work with the specific interests of volunteers, so if you have ideas about projects you'd like to work on, always reach out! Learn more about HLT preserves here.
About this Event:
Help plant trees at Idell! We'll be planting maple and blackgum trees, along with a diversity of native shrubs and wildflower seed, to fill in where invasive species were removed along the trail. We'll also check out and tend to last year's plantings, which are thriving! Wear good boots & bring work gloves if you have them.
Be sure to wear good boots and dress for the weather. You're welcome to bring your own work gloves, pruners, or other hand tools, but we'll have plenty to loan. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sarah at sarah@hunterdonlandtrust.org
Look forward to meeting you out there!
