About the International Humanity Foundation (IHF)

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through education and grassroots leadership. Operating across five continents, IHF maintains a unique "University" structure where volunteers collaborate to manage our centers in Kenya, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Role Overview: "The Global Chroniclers"

The Newsletter Team is responsible for IHF’s most consistent and direct line of communication with our global supporters. Your mission is to curate, edit, and distribute the monthly newsletter that keeps our donors, partners, and former volunteers connected to the progress of our children and centers. You transform raw updates into a professional, cohesive narrative.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Curating: Gather "Success Stories," center updates, and financial transparency reports from our 40+ teams.
• Editing & Layout: Work with the Write Edits Team to ensure all articles are polished and align with the IHF brand voice.
• Email Marketing Management: Manage the distribution platform (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) and monitor engagement metrics (open rates, click-throughs).
• Leadership Training & Mentorship: Develop and lead training sessions for new members on "Non-Profit Storytelling" and digital newsletter best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Exceptional Writing: Ability to write and edit compelling, error-free copy in English.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments for content.
• Design Eye: Basic understanding of digital layout and how to pair text with visual assets effectively.
• Professional Focus: Excellent for those in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or Creative Writing.
