Volunteer Maintenance Assistant

Help us complete renovation and repair projects in our office and lodge facilities.

Need to have a good knowledge of maintenance skills, with a particular focus on carpentry, plumbing and electrical. A strong back, a team player, along with construction experience, and a servant attitude are required.

Responsibilities include assistance with the following:

• Building Maintenance
  • Repairs, renovations and modifications
  • Room setup for events and meetings
  • Furniture moves, modification and repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Pest extermination
  • Wall repairs and repainting
  • Landscaping tasks
• Preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Printers/copiers/scanners
  • Electronic and AV equipment
  • HVAC system
  • Electrical system
  • Office equipment and appliances
  • Burglar and fire system
  • Sprinkler systems and grounds
• Assist with the Maintenance Hotline and work order requests

Qualifications include:

• Must agree with TWR's mission and doctrinal statement
• Must have patience and perseverance
• Must be flexible and able to make adjustments as situations require
• Must be able to work on a team and independently
• Must be detail oriented and a creative problem solver
• Must speak, read, write and comprehend fluent English
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
