If you live with a mental health condition, have a loved one who does, or are a mental health professional consider joining NAMI Vermont's Provider Program as a mental health teacher. This role involves educating others about mental illness and recovery, and sharing your own experiences to enhance understanding and compassion. We are offering a free training for new Provider teachers on Dec. 6 & 7, 2025. All materials and lunch will be provided! Learn more and register at namivt.org/provider
The Provider program is an in-service training for staff in mental health organizations and healthcare practices. By completing the training in December, you will be certified to deliver the Provider program to staff members at these organizations.
To complete this training, you should have personal experience with a mental health condition, either as an individual, a family member, and/or mental health professionals. Once certified as a Provider teacher, volunteers are asked to lead at least one program per year.
Your unique insights will make a lasting impact on mental healthcare in Vermont! Apply now and be a part of this important program. Visit namivt.org/provider to learn more.
