Next Level Aquatics "it begins with breath"

    1) We are seeking volunteers to pass out information about NLA, talk about our mission with others. 2) To participate at our tables at area businesses. 3) To attend area events sponsored by NLA. 4) To help with fund raising efforts throughout the community. 5) To assist with spreading the word on social media pages.

Next Level Aquatics, a nonprofit organization founded in Onslow County, North Carolina, is committed to improving water safety and saving lives through accessible, high-quality learn-to-swim education. Beginning in Summer 2026, Next Level Aquatics plans to offer learn-to-swim scholarships for children and families seeking to develop essential aquatic skills.

Living in a coastal community surrounded by waterways, the ability to swim is not a luxury, it is a life-saving skill. Each year, preventable drownings continue to occur in our area due to limited access to formal swim instruction. By removing financial barriers, Next Level Aquatics aims to ensure that as many children as possible can learn to swim safely and confidently. Pending funds raised, the full cost of swim lessons for eligible participants will be covered. Adult learn-to-swim opportunities will also be available upon request, further strengthening overall community safety.

Community members are encouraged to attend the upcoming Rex Atirai Pacific Islander Concert at The Limelight of Jacksonville 145 Blue Creek School Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540 Fundraising Event on Friday June 26, 2026 from 6:00PM to 9:00 PM. The NC Polynesian Festival being held at The Rustic Barn at Half Moon 135 Batting Cage Trail, Jacksonville, NC 28540 on June 27, 2026 from 12:00PM to 8:00PM. Additional details will be provided regarding how donations directly support scholarship funding, program development, and water safety initiatives. Scholarship interest forms will also be available for families wishing to participate.

For every individual who gains the ability to swim safely, the risk of unnecessary drowning is reduced. Together, we can build a safer, more resilient coastal community, one swimmer at a time.
