🐾 Pet Therapy Volunteers Needed – Bring Comfort, Joy, and Connection

Belview Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate pet therapy volunteers to help bring moments of peace, comfort, and joy to patients facing the end of life.

Your presence—along with your gentle, well-behaved pet—can make a meaningful difference. A wagging tail, soft fur, or quiet companionship can ease anxiety, lift spirits, and provide emotional support not only to patients, but to their families as well.

💙 What You’ll Do

• Visit hospice patients in their homes or care facilities
• Provide comfort through calm, friendly animal interaction
• Help reduce feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and stress
• Create meaningful, uplifting moments during a sensitive time

🐶 Requirements

• Certified therapy animal (proof of certification)
• Liability Insurance
• Pet must be well-trained, calm, and comfortable with new environments
• Proof of vaccinations and health clearance for your pet
• Ability to commit to regular visits (flexible scheduling available)
• Compassionate, respectful, and dependable
• Must complete a full volunteer application packet with us which includes a background screening and health clearances.
