About Us

Bruck Syndrome Charity (Registered UK Charity Number: 1216729) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with Bruck Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterised by a combination of brittle bones (osteogenesis imperfecta) and joint contractures.

Our mission is to relieve the needs and protect the health of individuals, families, and carers affected by Bruck Syndrome. We do this by offering friendship and active communication to reduce social isolation, raising public awareness, promoting understanding within the medical profession, and encouraging vital research into potential treatments.

The Opportunity

We have recently been approved for the Google for Nonprofits program and have access to a Google Ad Grants account. As a small charity, we want to make the most of this incredible resource to reach families in need of support, but we lack the technical expertise to get it off the ground.

We are looking for a Google Ads expert to volunteer a maximum of 2 to 3 hours of their time to help us properly configure our account and launch our very first campaign.

By donating just a couple of hours of your expertise, you will be giving us the digital foundation we need to connect with isolated families, raise awareness for a rare disease, and ultimately change lives.

What You Will Do

In a brief, one-time engagement, you will help us with the following:

• Account Setup: Ensure our Google Ad Grants account is correctly configured and compliant with Google's specific nonprofit policies.
• Campaign Creation: Help us set up one initial, optimised campaign (e.g., driving awareness, directing affected families to our resources, or promoting donations).
• Basic Guidance: Provide a brief overview or a few tips on how we can maintain the account and avoid suspension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
• Familiarity with Google Ad Grants (specifically the compliance rules for nonprofits, such as maintaining a 5% CTR, keyword rules, etc.).
• A passion for helping small nonprofits maximise their impact!
