Join the 48 Peaks Executive Leadership Committee!

48 Peaks is a hiking fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association MA/NH Chapter. Over 400 hikers annually hike the 48 4,000 footers in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and beyond to raise vital funding for the Alzheimer's Association MA/NH Chapter. We are looking for ELC volunteers to help us continue to make an impact and grow this event!

Committee Objectives: Support the Alzheimer’s Association and its mission to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. Serve as a Volunteer Executive Leadership Committee Member to assist with increasing revenue and awareness by recruiting new corporate teams and sponsors, retaining past corporate teams and sponsors, and marketing 48 Peaks in your community and beyond.

Qualifications:

• Have personal and professional contacts to reach out and connect with regarding 48 Peaks and the below
• Are an avid hiker in New England
• Ability to network and communicate regularly with 48 Peaks staff

Minimum Time Commitment:

• Attend 45 minute to 1-hour monthly Executive Leadership Committee meetings on Zoom
• Register and participate as a hiker, or volunteer in the 2026 48 Peaks event on June 13th

Committee Member Responsibilities:

1. Be knowledgeable about the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and how 48 Peaks fuels that mission
2. Secure a minimum of $5,000 in sponsorship from your company and/or other companies
3. Lead a corporate team to participate and fundraise towards a minimum team goal of $5,000
4. Utilize personal and professional networks to identify and recruit new companies for both sponsorship and corporate teams
5. Assist in the expansion of the Executive Leadership Committee by identifying 1-3 new potential ELC members for 2026
6. Steward and deepen Alzheimer’s Association engagement within the corporate community by facilitating meetings for the Association with key contacts and attending these meetings when possible
7. Communicate/meet with the Alzheimer’s Association staff partner as needed to ensure success of the event
8. Participate in post-season review with Chairperson and Alzheimer’s Association staff partner and provide suggestions for next year
