Description
The Webmaster (Volunteer Position) manages the content of the African American Diabetes Association (AADA’s) entire internet presence. He or She will also be responsible for performing day-to-day site maintenance, setting organizational standards for design, performing navigation and browser compatibility, performing quality-control for content and maintaining and developing small web applications. Possess the capability to express and teach others about AADA’s mission, vision and
values.
- Ability to check and respond to emails daily.
- Be a positive advocate of AADA
- Experience using various social media platforms.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, ethics and legalities of internet Web publishing.
- Experience developing content for web.
- Basic familiarity with HTML
- Good leadership skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
