    Description

    Volunteer Role: Monthly Giving Coordinator (Grounds Crew)

    Reports to: Development Chair

    Overview:

    The Monthly Giving Coordinator manages and grows Leveling the Fields’ monthly giving program, The Grounds Crew. This role owns stewardship, retention, and growth of monthly donors—ensuring members feel valued, recognized, and connected through thoughtful communication, donor choice, and seamless systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day operations of the Grounds Crew monthly giving program
    • Create and execute campaigns to increase Grounds Crew members
    • Execute monthly stewardship touchpoints (emails, updates, recognition, thank-yous)
    • Coordinate annual donor gifts for Grounds Crew members, including:
      • Working with Marketing to develop email copy and templates
      • Creating a donor experience that allows members to choose their annual gift (based on membership tier)
    • Partner with Marketing on:
      • Grounds Crew email campaigns
      • Templates for onboarding, stewardship, upgrades, and gift selection
    • Work with marketing to set up and maintain automations for:
      • Donor onboarding
      • Annual gift selection and fulfillment
      • Ongoing stewardship communications
    • Track membership growth, retention, and engagement metrics
    • Support seasonal and campaign-based acquisition efforts

    Collaboration & Communication

    • Works closely with the Development Chair on goals and strategy
    • Collaborates with the Marketing Chair on messaging, templates, and donor experience
    • Provides monthly updates on Grounds Crew numbers, trends, and insights

    Time Commitment

    • ~2–4 hours per week
