Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge Roadside CA Condor Viewing Booth (multiple dates)
Details
Description
Join us at our viewing booth on Hudson Ranch Road where it runs through Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge! The refuge is between Maricopa and Pine Mountain Club on Hudson Ranch Road about 9 miles south of the junction with CA 166. Look for the shade canopy and life sized condor banner.
This is an opportunity for visitors to learn about California condors and possibly see some out in the wild!
We always love to have volunteers join us for these quiet days of condor watching. Helping at the viewing booth is a great way to meet lead volunteers and ask all your condor questions before jumping into a bigger tabling event.
We need volunteers for the following First and third Saturdays of the month, June through September, 10am-3pm: June 20, July 4, July 18, August 1, August 15, September 5, and September 19
NOTE: Meeting site is the Refuge overlook on Hudson Ranch Road, not the Venture office.
