2025-2026 Reading tutors for First and 2nd Grade at Windsor Farm Elementary, Broadneck

STAIR-Annapolis, Start The Adventure In Reading, is a twice-weekly, AFTER SCHOOL literacy tutoring program for Anne Arundel County Public School first and second grade students reading below grade level. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for an hour-45 minute long session, and we offer our volunteers the flexibility to choose their level of commitment: one day per week, two days per week, or as a substitute on an as-needed basis. STAIR-Annapolis is opening our newest site at Windsor Farm Elementary, 591 Broadneck Rd., Annapolis this Fall. Windsor Farm STAIR will be held on Monday and Thursday from 2:30-3:45.

I will have a short 45 minute Zoom information sessions during the fall that will introduce you to the STAIR program. Please fill out an online application or visit our website to fill out an application.

Once you attend the information session and decide to tutor (we know you will!) , there will also be a required two hour curriculum training session that will be scheduled at various dates throughout the year.
