    About Us The Pro-Truth Pledge (PTP) is a science-backed nonprofit dedicated to fighting misinformation and restoring integrity to public discourse. We mobilize everyday citizens to hold politicians, journalists, and media figures accountable to a set of evidence-based honesty behaviors — grounded in peer-reviewed behavioral science research. Our global volunteer network is the engine that powers this mission.

    Position Summary As a Truth Integrity Investigator, you'll serve as the accountability backbone of the Pro-Truth Pledge. You'll monitor assigned pledge signers — reviewing their public statements, social media, and press coverage — to evaluate whether they are honoring their commitment to truthful behavior.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct monthly spot-checks of assigned public figure signatories
    • Review social media, speeches, and press releases for accuracy and pledge consistency
    • Evaluate external complaints about signatories within 48 hours
    • Draft formal resolution reports with documented findings and recommendations

    Skills

    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Ability to evaluate politically charged content with fairness and objectivity
    • Familiarity with fact-checking tools and methods a plus
    • Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
