MARKETING CHAIR
Charlotte Jingle Bell Run | Saturday, December 12
Primary Objective:
Drive awareness, excitement, and participation through creative and consistent promotion of the Jingle Bell Run.
Role Overview:
The Marketing Chair leads the local marketing effort for the Charlotte Jingle Bell Run. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys storytelling, social media, and community engagement—bringing the event to life online and across the community. There’s also the opportunity to build and lead a small committee to expand reach and impact.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 3–5 hours per month, increasing closer to event day. One-year term.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and execute a local marketing plan to promote the event
- Manage and grow social media presence with engaging, consistent content
- Highlight teams, participants, and community partners to build momentum
- Partner with staff to align messaging and key timelines
- Identify creative ways to reach new audiences and increase registrations
- Build and lead a subcommittee to support content creation and outreach (optional)
Additional Ways You’ll Support
- Serve as an ambassador for the Charlotte Jingle Bell Run
- Help generate buzz across the community leading up to event day
- Identify future Marketing Chair leaders
