Brews and Bears at the WNC Nature Center!

Brews and Bears is back! This after hours event series is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we couldn't do it without the help of our volunteers. This event runs the second Friday of each month during the summer. The remaining dates for 2026 are: June 12, July 10, August 14, and September 11. We are looking for volunteer help on each of these dates.

We still need a few more volunteers for Friday, June 12th for parking, ID check, and drink stations! You may email volunteers@wildwnc.org directly if you are interested.

Volunteer Shifts:

Event Set Up 1:00-4:00

• Moving coolers and setting up tents, tables, chairs, and signage. Volunteers must be able to lift 30lbs

Guest Check-In 5:00 - 7:30

• Checking in guests at the entrance and giving out drink tokens

ID Check 5:00 - 7:30

• Checking IDs as guests enter the park

Drink Stations 4:45 - 8:00

• Taking payment from guests and serving drinks

Parking Cars 4:30 - 7:15

• Helping guests park in assigned spaces and controlling the flow of traffic
