    Description

Volunteers Needed for Wild About Nature Festival

Join us for a day of fun and outdoor adventure at the Wild About Nature Festival on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This event will bring not-for-profits and community organizations from across the region to Big Waters Land Trust's Bay Preserve for nature-based activities the whole family will enjoy! From tree-climbing to nature printing, kayaking to wildlife ID – each year this annual event brings our community together to celebrate all things outdoors. Plus, food trucks, special presentations, and live music make this a day you won’t want to miss!

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping with this event. We are expecting about 1000-1200 people.

    Shifts Available:

    Activities Volunteer Description

Activities volunteers may assist at any number of booths within the festival space. Please let us know if you have any preferences (i.e. crafts, welcome tent, etc.) or accessibility requirements. We will do our best to accommodate booth preferences when assigning volunteer roles. All activities volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors and interacting with festival attendees of all ages.
