    Make a Real Difference in Someone’s Life

    Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is seeking compassionate volunteers to support hospice patients and their families during end-of-life care.

    If you have a heart for service and a passion for photography, consider becoming a Photography Volunteer. In this role, you may:

    • Capture meaningful moments at special events such as Veteran Pinning ceremonies
    • Take portraits requested by patients and their families
    • Participate in our Holding Hands program, where volunteers photograph patients holding hands with loved ones creating a lasting keepsake for families

    Volunteer Requirements:

    • Must provide your own photography equipment (camera not provided)
    • Willingness to donate photographs
    • Adherence to HIPAA privacy guidelines regarding patient confidentiality and image use

    Flexible Scheduling:

    • Opportunities available weekdays, evenings, or weekends
    • Typical commitment: 1–2 hours per week (patient visits, photography, or office support)
