    Long Term Care Facility Ombudsman Needed

    This volunteer opportunity is for individuals age 55 and over.

    The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) of Southern Kane and Kendall County is looking for volunteers interesting in being trained to be a long-term care facility Ombudsman for Senior Services Associates. An Ombudsman volunteer is a citizen representative who hears concerns from residents and is trained on how to escalate the concerns to an Ombudsman Supervisor. Once you are trained, you will set your own schedule and long-term care facility.

    Free training is required.
