Support Services Coordinator

Position: (Volunteer)

Time Commitment: Flexible, approximately 10 hours per week

Location: Hybrid FL

EmpowHERto partners with black and Latina girls and young women from underserved communities between 14-21, empowering them with the necessary tools to thrive and effect positive systemic change.

We are seeking a dedicated Support Services Coordinator to assist in organizing the final details of our AdviseHer program. AdviseHer is an initiative aimed at exposing women to the beneficial impact of role mentorship and industry exposure in career advancement and development. Reporting to the Education Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth implementation and success of the program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and coordination of programs and activities.
• Collaborate with the programming team to monitor and track program scheduling and requirements.
• Coordinate program communications for participants, mentors and team.
• Collect, track and report on program statistics and information
• Assist with the use of technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software and other communications technologies, for instance
• Create and maintain program records, reports, presentations and proposals.
• Support program growth and development as necessary

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, business, program management).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for empowering young minority women and girls.
• Demonstrated commitment to community engagement through sustained volunteer work or civic involvement that reflects empathy, initiative, and impact
