    🌟 Opportunity Description

February is the month of love — and one of the most meaningful ways to celebrate is by sharing your time with someone who needs it most.

We are seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to hospice patients. Whether you volunteer as a couple, bring a friend, gather your family, or come solo, your presence can make a powerful difference.

Volunteers offer simple but heartfelt activities such as:

    • Friendly conversation
    • Reading aloud or listening
    • Music, prayer, or quiet presence
    • Crafts, games, or legacy projects
    • Supporting caregivers through short respite visits

No medical experience required — just kindness, reliability, and a desire to bring comfort.

    💗 Why This Opportunity Matters

Hospice patients often face loneliness or limited social connection. A volunteer’s presence can bring light, laughter, and peace to their day. Every visit becomes a gift of love.

    🕒 Time Commitment

Flexible! Volunteer as little as twice a month or as often as you’d like. We will match you with a schedule and location that fits your life.

    🎓 Training & Support

    • Full volunteer training provided (in‑person or virtual options)
    • Ongoing support from our Volunteer Services Coordinator
    • Opportunities available across multiple care facilities and private homes

    👫 Perfect for:

    • Couples wanting a meaningful shared activity
    • Friends looking to serve together
    • Families with teens (15+) learning compassion
    • Individuals who want purposeful connection
