    Description

    Pet Therapist Volunteer

    We are seeking compassionate volunteer pet therapists and certified therapy animal handlers to bring the healing power of animals to our hospice patients in Spartanburg facilities.

    Our patients and their families would greatly benefit from gentle, calming visits from well-behaved therapy dogs, cats, or other suitable animals. Pet therapy has proven benefits including reduced anxiety, decreased pain perception, increased social interaction, and improved quality of life during end-of-life care.
