Senior Gleaners of San Diego County is seeking board members

For more than 30 years, our nonprofit has brought the senior community together to provide fresh, healthy food to those who need it most.

We’re seeking board members, especially from South Bay and East County to help ensure that we understand and address the needs of these communities.

If you care about feeding people in need and reducing food waste, we’d love to hear from you. Leadership or board experience is welcome, but isn’t required. Neither is gleaning experience—and board members can be any adult age.

Board members help guide fundraising, finances, and organizational oversight. They attend quarterly virtual meetings, contribute to committee work between meetings, and make an annual financial contribution in an amount that is comfortable for them.
