Role Summary
We are seeking Grants Research & Writing Assistants (2) to support the Grants & Partnerships Lead. Volunteers will help research funding opportunities, draft grant proposals, and assist with donor communications. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in grant writing, nonprofit development, and program funding.
Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities and summarize eligibility and deadlines
- Draft concise and compelling grant proposals
- Assist in preparing simple budgets for submissions
- Maintain preliminary grants tracker
- Support donor and partner communications
- Help with reporting for awarded grants
- Collaborate closely with the Grants & Partnerships Lead
Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Organized and able to meet deadlines
- Interest in education, youth empowerment, filmmaking, or nonprofit work
- Comfortable working remotely
- Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets or online collaboration tools
- Grant writing experience is a plus, but not required
