    Role Summary

    We are seeking Grants Research & Writing Assistants (2) to support the Grants & Partnerships Lead. Volunteers will help research funding opportunities, draft grant proposals, and assist with donor communications. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in grant writing, nonprofit development, and program funding.

    Responsibilities

    • Research grant opportunities and summarize eligibility and deadlines
    • Draft concise and compelling grant proposals
    • Assist in preparing simple budgets for submissions
    • Maintain preliminary grants tracker
    • Support donor and partner communications
    • Help with reporting for awarded grants
    • Collaborate closely with the Grants & Partnerships Lead

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Organized and able to meet deadlines
    • Interest in education, youth empowerment, filmmaking, or nonprofit work
    • Comfortable working remotely
    • Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets or online collaboration tools
    • Grant writing experience is a plus, but not required
